My heart jumped a bit when I saw this picture while surfing the net. I mean my guide, Cassiel, is the Angel of Saturn. He is Kronos in Greek and Saturn in Roman myth. Before I even knew who he is, he’s been showing himself in dreams and my astral travels.
And when I researched about him, the snake is one of his symbols. When I took the Shamanic walk before even knowing about all these things, the Power Animal I got is the Snake. His Egyptian counterpart, Seb, is also known as the father of Snakes. He is also sometimes depicted as the god with the head of a snake.
And then there’s this picture of Saturn holding Ouroboros, another snake figure. Ouroboros has always been the closest sigil to me. In fact, it’s the title of my deactivated Tarot page and my upcoming website. It says that The One Is All. The snake, as a symbol, on the other hand, means death, rebirth, transformation, and healing. It’s also the symbol of mysteries of life and secret information (I have another AA guiding me for this.) And that’s been the theme of my life, rebirth from multiple ego death and the pursuit of life’s mysteries.
Coincidence? I don’t think so. Merely synchronicities.
